Rave of the moment, The Nigerian sensational music minister and kingdom blogger at (9jagospelplay) took to his social media page and question fans if they cite the act for gospel musicians to run shows on ticket basis.
According to Galantmedia.ng reporters, the controversial topic tossed by Felix Jnr asked:
“SHOULD GOSPEL ARTISTES TICKET THEIR CONCERTS’?”👇👇
Not just that, today many gospel CDs and magazines are sold for money.
And if we should listen to the audience, 70% of Nigerians may not likely support the move, many claims that it is not necessary for gospel musicians to sell tickets to host an event , because their believe is based on the fact that anything related to gospel (word of God) suppose to be given free of charge.
Before one could justify the matter, recall that gospel ministers and artistes do pay their bills and feed family, beside the financial talk, there are some gospel singers who organize shows or concert on a low amount of money while some are buoyant enough to host a concert without selling tickets.
Varieties of big shows holding this days in Nigeria warrant ticket buying as far as entertainment is concern, talkless of those putting up shows on average budget , must you expect free things? why can’t you pay to attend a concert? We all love Hillsong but people usually pay for tickets to those live recordings.
Its time for the mass to come into their right senses
Ofcourse, the Nigerian music industry is another authorized trading point where one can compose, produce and sell good records.
If an artist pay for studio session, then why won’t you pay to buy his or her song if you really like it, the same thing applicable to sales of ticket to party audience.
